I mentioned in my Goals for 2015 post that I wanted to start doing a weekend roundup of things I’ve been pinning, sharing, and crushing on for the week. Some of these things I’ve come across from the weekly Merry Monday Link Party, others I’ve seen on Pinterest, or just around social media and other link parties. Either way, these are all posts I’ve found interesting, inspiring, or just downright awesome!
So, kick back, grab your coffee or tea, and check out my favorite things for the week!
First up this delicious looking African Chicken Peanut Stew from Simply Recipes. Seriously, doesn’t this stew look absolutely wonderful? I can’t wait to try this recipe!
Did you know that you can use some of those dried up pine needles from the Christmas tree to make a homemade facial toner? Purple Hues and Me shows you exactly how to do it and the recipe is so simple.
I’m a sucker for anything chocolate and my absolute favorite cookies are chocolate crinkles. This Spiked Spice Chocolate Crinkles recipe from How Does Your Garden Grow? sounds amazing. Seriously, how can you go wrong adding bourbon to chocolate?!
I’m in love with this simple housewarming gift idea of a burlap last name sign from Meet the B’s. Isn’t this adorable? I may need to make one for myself.
This post from Laina Turner on why she should quit blogging really hit the nail on the head. She’s funny and so incredibly honest and real in this post (and her other’s too). There is so many things that go into blogging, and so many niches, it’s hard to keep yourself on track and focus on the big picture.
These beautiful stenciled pillows from Lolly Jane are adorable! I love that you can buy the pre-made DIY kit to make them yourself too.
This post on things that can help you improve and intentionally change from Humble in a Heartbeat was something I really loved reading this week. Charlee gives some great ideas on ways you can help you be more intentional and help achieve your goals. I love her idea on using timers for things like social media and email (and to remind you to switch out laundry!).
I’m seriously crushing on this dresser makeover from My Creative Days. She found this dresser in pretty sad shape on the side of the road and transformed it into this new, beautiful, functional piece.
Finally, I love love loved this post Before He Proposed from Scissortail Silk. They were really words I needed to read, even if I didn’t realize at the time I needed them.
What are some things you are loving/pinning/sharing this week? I’d love to hear from you!
